Online lecture videos via VMIX online video platform

VMIX online video platform makes online lecturing comes true. A professor does not need to always come to the class to deliver his lecture. Students consider not coming to the class for attending lecture. My professor of Research Method is recently busy with his distance classes. He once asked me to discuss his hectic activities. Consider his hectic activities, I was then suggesting him using online video tutorial for his lectures. I ensured him that he does not have to come to the class, and the students can watch the video at home. I was encouraging my self to ensure him more because if he would do so (online video tutoring), then it were also a benefit for me that I don’t have to come to the class because his class schedule is in the afternoon, the time in which many students are exhausted by morning classes. I also told him that by online video tutoring, students can watch and listens to your video over and over. In the ordinary class, he could only explain once while in fact many students have not comprehended his explanation at a time. Through online video tutoring, whenever students don’t understand, they can play back the video anytime as they need. Fortunately, he agreed my suggestions.

We then started a new project namely making the video. With simple video making equipments provided by my university, and with a little of my skill in operating video editing software, the video making run well.

I was going to upload the video via Youtube.com. However, the professor didn’t want to. He said that uploading academic video to youtube.com is not professional. He then asked to build his personal website which consists of his videos. He wanted it to be like youtube.com where students can watch online or even download the videos. This was a disaster for me because I did not know anything about embedding video on website.

After several times browsing google, finally I met VMIX. VMIX is very helpful for this project as embedding videos on website is just within clicks and no coding skill like php, javascript, html, css, and so forth. Unfortunately, when the solution (VMIX) had been found, I was no longer involved in the project because the university staffs have taken over this project from my hand. Well, it’s alright, I will start my own online project. I am going to sell my jokes video online on my personal website with the help of VMIX!
